Hacked Road Signs Warn of Zombie Apocalypse

Zombies Ahead!

Ahh, the morning commute. Coffee, NPR, and… Zombies?! Holy crap! Your mind starts racing: Maybe the zombie apocalypse is upon us… No, probably some studio-funded ARG (Alternate Reality Game)… Wait, what am I thinking? Hackers! Again! YOU RASCALS!

Road signs in Illinois, Indiana, and Texas have mysteriously starting warning motorists of zombies and dinosaurs. Here’s a few examples:

Interstate 255 in Collinsville, Illinois: ”DAILY LANE CLOSURES DUE TO ZOMBIES.”

Hamilton County, Indiana: ”RAPTORS AHEAD — CAUTION.”

Austin, Texas: ”NAZI ZOMBIES! RUN!!!”

If you want to have your own road sign fun, here’s a website that tells you how.
