IGN Movies has debuted the new trailer for Vin Diesel’s Babylon A.D.
My first thought: Really? The Requiem for a Dream song again?
Opening August 29, the Mathieu Kassovitz-directed sci-fi action-thriller stars Vin Diesel as a mercenary who agrees to escort a woman from Russia to Germany, not realizing that she’s the host for an organism that a cult wants to harvest into a genetically-modified Messiah.
Sweet -- Mercenaries! Cults! Genetically-modified Messiahs! Sounds promising… Too bad the trailer is lame. Judge for yourself:
